Sr. Reports Analyst
GOALS OF THE POSITION:
The Sr. Reports Analyst will be leading the reports analysts’ team. The main task is to gather, maintain, analyze, interpret and report all data resulting from operations from different platforms to all the departments. The person is responsible for developing the competence of the reports analysts and provide strategic growth and improvement to the data gathering approach for all the departments.
Main Responsibilities
Leads the team of reports analysts’ responsibility for extracting and presenting all data from different departments.
Responsible for developing team competence.
Accountable for all quality produced by the Reports Analyst team.
Extracts data from various register databases using technical reporting tools.
Identifies data or information requirements, assesses existing registry data sources, and develops new reports where necessary.
Creates Ad-hoc data reports.
Creates and maintains self-service and automated reports for ongoing data requirements of various departments.
Assists with administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the reporting infrastructure to enable high-value, relevant, informative reporting in a timely manner.
Monitors trends and brings issues, present and engages discussions with the leadership team in a timely manner.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications / Skills Summary:
3 to 5 years as a Reports analyst. At least 2 years as a reports analyst supervisor or equivalent capacity.
Experience object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs.
Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data.
Experience in helping solve business problems.
Pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required.
Advance to Expert level in Excel- knowledgeable in Vlook up, Pivot, macros
Highly organized and flexible and with excellent communication skills both writen and oral
